Crimson: Steam Pirates for iPhone App Reviews

One of the very best ship battle games in the App Store. Fun story, great mechanics. All that souled only by the lack of Retina support and optimisation with the iPhone 5.

In my opinion, this is an excellent game for the most part. Combat is fun and simple, the setting is intriguing, etc. However, I cant help but feel that bungie has missed an opportunity for a great swashbuckling adventure RPG with, say, customizable ships, shops, and an overall world map. All in all a good game, and I look forward to the sequel.

Ive been waiting for more mission packs to be released, but nothing :( The game itself is fantastic, just short.

glad to have found an iphone game that doesnt constantly shill you for money through in app purchases of game money or other things that should just be freely handed out within the confines of the game only thing crimson asks you to buy are new level expansions which is how an iphone game should be built

This game is sooooo fun. Its like a turn based strategy game with a unique twist. Im impressed...

I dont really like strategy games, but Bungie caught my attention and made me want to keep playing. Halo is my favorite, game and it doesnt really surprise me that I enjoy playing this game as well. Another good creation from Bungie, and looking forward to their next game; Destiny.

I got this game because I was curious to see what was possible with Moai development, but this game is incredible! Love it. Much fun. Great interface, amazing RTS. Totally worth getting.

This seems to be the tabletop X-Wing game with a pirate reskin, and Im loving that. Its great to play in very small chunks too, as there is no "pirate empire" to manage, just self-contained battle scenarios. Its a dollar. Get it.

new spin on strategy, great concept

Love this game but like others are saying it could really use some better graphics for the retina display. It just doesnt look crisp like it does on the iPad. So please update the graphics to retina display standards and this game is an easy 5 stars. Still needs retina. Not optimized for iPhone 5. Bungie must not know how to update apps.

Super fun story line and game play. Wish you could upgrade your ships. But maybe you can, Im only 20min into it.

I never do reviews when a game asks but since this game never (not once) asked me to buy things or try to force me too...Im giving 5 stars...only thing it needs is gear and multiplayer

This looks like a really cool app from the pictures and reviews but I have an iPhone 5s and it wont open. I was looking forward to playing this game and hopefully this will be fixed soon.

I really have had great fun playing this game. It is well made and for the price is a great deal. You also get the first two chapters for free now!

I just purchased the game but it doesnt register any of my click events so I cant even start a game. I suspect its due to ios8 or the new screen size on the iPhone 6. Can you please update?
